Born in Turin, Italy, Federico Brunato grew up with a football under his feet and Roberto Baggio as his idol. After moving to the Czech Republic during childhood, he played for FC Viktoria Plzeň, until a chance encounter with a deck of cards changed everything.
As a teenager, Federico began organizing underground €2 poker tournaments for his schoolmates. Forty people showed up for the first, fifty for the second. By then, he was hooked, not just as a player, but as someone who understood the power of the game to bring people together.
After studying International Relations at university, he joined King's Casino as a part-time dealer. Within 4 years, his multilingual ability and relentless dedication saw him promoted to Director of Poker. Six years later, he became CEO of King's Resort, Europe's largest poker destination.
Today, Federico leads a resort with over 800 employees, hosting more than 2,000 tournaments per year across Rozvadov and Prague, including the WSOP Europe, King's Million, Italian Poker Sport, German Poker Masters, and more.
